We feel satisfied if we even have this information. Then there are the times we are fortunate enough to learn some interesting details of their lives that allows us to put some personality into the dry facts. </p> <p align="justify" valign="top"><font face="verdana" size="2" FONT COLOR="#630000">I always knew my grandparents, <a href="harmar.html"><b>Harvey and Marie Field</b></a>, were totally abstainers when it came to drinking alcoholic beverages of any kind. I asked my dad once just why that was. He told me that his grandfather, <a href="geo1890.html"><b>George E. Field</b></a> was a man with a drinking problem. From <a href="geofieldobit.html"><b>George s obituary</b></a> and from information found in <a href="valpoparade.html"><b>Valparaiso, Indiana,</b</a> city directories it is obvious George had several occupations throughout his adult life. It seemed he was often changing jobs.
