The article on the right is pretty funny. Somehow, while George and Lavica were visiting friends his horse got loose and ran away with his buggy. The buggy obviously rolled or crashed into something and was a totally destroyed.

The second article concerns the death of George's younger sister Nancy A. Field. On her death certificate it states that she died of "general congestion." She was the seventh child of Benjamin R. and Lydia Ellen Brown Field. Benjamin and Lydia had eight children. Benjamin then had four other children with two more wives. Only his sons George and Keen were still living at the time of Benjamin's death in 1903.
