Mt. Pleasant Cemetery is located on State Rd 15, 1.5 miles North of Claypool in Kosciusko County, Indiana . This cemetery was visited by Howard and Miriam Grasz Field in August 1967 and by Eugene and Lucie Field in August 1997, August 1998 and July of 2009. The cemetery is well maintained but deterioration of the tombstones can be seen.

Wilson/Robert Wilson/June 27, 1852 - March 18. 1915/Rose E. His Wife/Oct. 28, 1858 - Sept. 21, 1907/At Rest

Robert "Rob" Wilson was born in Ohio 27 June 1852. His parents were John Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Wilson. He married Elizabeth Rosette Frymire 7 February 1878 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. He died 19 March 1915 in Kosciusko County.

Elizabeth Rosette Frymire was born 28 October 1858 in Lagrange County, Indiana. Her parents were James Frymire and Isabelle Gohn. She died in Nappanee, Elkhart County, Indiana 24 September 1907.

Robert and Rose were the grandparents of Miriam Grasz Field.

Abide in Me/John B./Wilson/Died/Oct. 16, 1903/Aged/80 Y. 7 M. 23 D.

John Benjamin Wilson was born 23 March 1823 in Stark County Ohio. His parents were Douglass and Jeanette Ossie Hinds Wilson. He married Mary E. Crockett 23 November 1847 in Stark County, Ohio. After Mary's death in 1869, John married Susannah Barbara Adams 22 December 1870 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. He died in Clay Twp., Kosciusko County, Indian 16 October 1903.

Mary E. Crockett was born 24 February 1931 in Virginia. Her parents were James and Sarah Farmer Crockett. She died in Clay Twp., Kosciusko County, Indiana, 6 April 1869.

John and Mary Crockett are the great grandparents of Miriam Grasz Field.

Susan B Wilson/1840/1920

Susannah Barbara Adams was born was born 5 November 1840 in Ohio. Her parents were Isaac and Fanny Kemper Adams. She was the second wife of John B. Wilson. Susannah and John were married 22 December 1870 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. Susannah died in Indiana, 18 November 1920. This plaque no longer exists. The photo was taken in 1998.

Lucie and Gene Field visited the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in July of 2009.
